Hey Everybody,

I’m loving your plugin and  add-ons so far. It has really turned my guitar lesson website https://countryguitaronline.com into a really professional site. I was wondering if you might ever consider creating a plug-in that is similar to a Facebook feed… Something where we could add a short code to a page and it would display all of the most recent comments, and people could visit the page, scroll down through older comments, like comments, reply to comments, etc. all on that same comment feed. I would definitely buy that add-on and I think it would be a huge way to increase engagement on my website.

Thanks for reading -

Devin

Hi Devin Shawn,

Thank you for this suggestion. We'll take it into consideration for sure.

Awesome, thanks! One more question for you if you don't mind...

Is there any way, somewhere in WP Discuz Settings, where I could limit the number of comments that a user posts within a certain amount of time? For example, I could set my comments to where a user could only post a set number of comments every five minutes, and if they try to post too many comments within the five minute period, they get a popup that says, "You're posting too fast. Please wait five minutes and try again."

The reason I'm asking is because we just launched a monthly giveaway and we're using a plugin called Wordpoints to award points for comments and other actions. I have some people that are going overboard with comments trying to win the giveaway. I'd like to limit the comments so people can't "cheat" to win the monthly prizes.

Thanks again!

Devin

Hi Devin Shawn,

this is WordPress native (core) functionality, it works when the guest tries to comment quickly and it works on your website as well.

Check this doc if you'd like to customize it:
