Hi, I've been asked to fix a problem on a Wordpress site that is using wpDiscuz - Supercharged native comments. A user has changed his email address, and now all of his past comments come up with the default avatar with "Guest" as the name. Comments that he has made after the email was changed are displaying the correct avatar and username. Any help or information you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

Comment Author email is very important. if you change it it means the old user doesn't exists so all comments old users are no longer belongs to the user with new email. Comment owner detection is only based on email (when comment is posted by email) there is no other way. If it's changed you have no option to be the author of comments.

I'm really sorry but i have no clue in this situation.
