Please advise.

Please leave website URL to allow us check it. Also please make sure the CAPTCHA field is enabled for Default Form in Comments > Forms admin page. Just edit this form and click on pencil, then see if it's enabled for guests:

I had to disable wpDiscuz  ReCaptcha Plugin because when it is enabled, there is no Captcha at all and the form isn't appear as it should (1 column instead of 2). the HTML code shows nothing inside the element meant to contain the ReCaptcha UI. 

The default form shows it is enabled for guests.

Tested on WP 4.6.1 & 4.7
CentOS 7.2 x64
Nginx 1.11.6
PHP 7.0.13
