Spam comments keep piling in, switching ZeroSpam back on now.

Here are two more spam comments (the ones with the links in them):

This spam is made manually. reCAPTCHA stops bot spams. If comment poster a real human he can add a spam comment. Not all spam are bots. Bots have no chance to post a spam with reCAPTCHA forms. ZeroSpam works with different logic, it checks comment content. But reCAPTCHA only checks bots.

That's not correct. ZeroSpam works by showing an invisible field to Bots. If the field is filled out, the comment gets rejected. For more info see here:  https://davidwalsh.name/wordpress-comment-spam (ZeroSpam is based on the method described by David Walsh).

As the spam is filtered out 100% by ZeroSpam, it means it is generated by bots – and reCAPTCHA is not working for some reason.

I'm not here to describe spam protection functions. Contact them and ask if they checks the content. I'm sure they also check the content. Even if not it doesn't have any relation to the reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA prevents bots only and I don't think this is a bot. Ty to deactivate reCAPTCHA and wait for some days and you'll see the real number of bot spammers.
