is there a way to get a tab in the menu for notifications? So members can see when they have been mentioned, or a post they're subscribed to is commented on?

I'm sorry, but wpForo doesn't have such a feature. I'll ask wpForo developers to take this feature into consideration for future releases for sure.

I have to ask you one more time to open a new support topic in the wpForo community once you have some questions related to wpForo. Here at gVectors forum, we provide support for wpForo add-ons, not the core wpForo plugin.
