I would like to add a field that is a form box call instagram. I know how to do this but would like to know how adding the @username would automatically link to the account in IG

I'm sorry but there is no such field type in comment form builder. You can use the simple text field but the value will not be changed to a link to that user IG profile. This is also a custom codding work and this also requires some developer.
