Is it possible, for a user to automatically subscribe to all comments on a post, once they have posted a comment?

I've already automatically subscribed them when someone comments on a comment they have made, but would like to be able to do this to all comments on a post as well?

I'm sorry, but there is no such option.

Please note, this kind of options don’t comply GDPR and they are not manageable.

The situation has not changed? Why I can not subscribe a commentator for all comments for the current post, if I warned him about the subscription?I show checked checkbox "subscribe me for all post comments" in comment form and i send him link for confirmation e-mail. Why do you think this is illegal? I need this functionality

Hi @karpo518,

To make them automatically subscribed to own comments you can enable the "Notify of new replies to this comment checked by default" option in Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Subscription admin page.

However, as I've already mentioned options don’t comply GDPR and they are not manageable.
