I can't find the button related to uploading pictures or videos from the computer to upload them in a thread on the forum

Here is that:

No, you can attach a picture with the attachment button. If you want to show the attached image as an image in the post just use the custom code explained here: https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/uploading-and-embedding-images/#post-5212

here is a good article for you, you can even use the plugin mentioned in the article to add extra codes like this.

There is no other way. Please just add the code or buy the addon. I don't see why you don't want to add that code, if you refuse the code, then what else you're looking for?
We cannot do any magic for you, all people who don't want to spend some money they add the small code. All changes in any website can be done by codes. Code is the solution of every customization in softwares. There is no any solution for changes in web. This is not a vehicle, so we could add a new transmission or engine, this is a web program, and it works with codes.
