The custom fields add on has been great. What are the settings that need to be on in order for it to show up? I think in my tinkering with the settings I have turned it off and am guessing it may have something to do with buddypress settings. I don't use buddypress and so I turned off a number of the settings for buddypress thinking they were unnecessary and might cause some sort of conflict. Now I don't see the custom field search. Can you help me turn it back on? Thanks!

We don’t follow you well. As far as we understand you’d like to search by the custom fields. If so, it’s possible. All custom fields can be added in the forum search form, so you can search/filter topics by custom fields. Thanks for your quick response. Maybe you can just tell me how to get the custom search on the screen. I will attach a screenshot of my search and there is no custom profile fields there. When I first put in the custom fields add-on the profile search would come up in the search box. Now it does not. All that comes up is what you see in the screen shot. Thanks for any help in getting the profiles searchable once again.

Aha! Thanks. You can see this is just the typical search box. The member search is set to "filter" and the user custom search is set for a number of fields to be searched. Why won't it show up?
