1. How do I set up an email notification when receiving a private message?
Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Private Messages admin page, make sure the "Email Notification" is enabled.
2. How does a user know when he/she received replies on another member's private message board.
When user receives a private message, it will be noted at the top right pop-up of a forum page. See the screenshot below:

Oh, Thanks. I have never noticed Add On button.
One more question.
1. I sent PM to a user
2. He replied to my message on his message board
- Do I notified when he replied his own message board?
