I've just updated my license and want to insert images inline into posts with the images stored on my G Drive to save space on the server as there are going to absolutely loads.

I am using my forum as a documentation system for some software I have written so step by step visual guides for users which are pretty complex.

@easyacc,

We're really sorry, but the wpForo Embeds addon doesn't have such a feature. Please note the URL of the file in the Google Drive doesn't have any specific URLs. All the images, videos, etc have the same URL as the whole folder. Thus it cannot be embedded.

I don't think that is the case? Each image has it's own url eg this one:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/15Yp9fnfb4PTygrzpzTJWQyR5yTEeDSZb/view?usp=sharing

The folder link is entirely different?

@easyacc,

The URL should be ended with extensions like .png, .jpg, .pdf, .doc etc. In this case it's just being ended with view?usp=sharing. So no way to detect the type of the file.

ok, I assumed it would stream the file in and detect it.

I can embed them into other system so I'll move to those.

Thanks.
