I thought the whole point of the addon was to make it easy? Neither of those things work and nor does pasting any of the stuff on the Scribd website where you choose to embed something. Can you please try it for yourself and report back what actually works?

Ok, thank you for letting us know, we're going to check this issue and find some solution. If you can please leave some example URLs you use for embedding.

But to be honest, any book will do as the site will potentially embed a bunch of different books.
