Hi @niccolo-angeli,

You should navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Addons > Embeds admin page, you'll see all necessary options to configure the add-on. You can change:

1. the Embed video player sizes,

2. Maximum number of embedded content per post

3. Enable YouTube privacy-enhanced mode. Read more here

4. Enable or disable all necessary providers

There is no action button on post editor/form. You should open for example YouTube video on YouTube website, then copy the share URL and then just paste it in post content. After a post is submitted it'll be replaced to content provider widget or player.

I don't undertand what these options are for though:

By reading the descripton I am still not sure.

This option embeds all URLs using website meta data information. You just need to put website URL in post content to display a nice widget with the website data.

This option allow to embed current domain blog contents.

@niccolo-angeli,

The first option allows to embed the blog articles/content from other domains.

The second one allows embedding current domain blog contents.

You can simply enable the options and check how those work.

Sooo. To answer the question... is there any documentation other than the brief descriptions offered on the EMBEDS Tab?

It appears the answer is no.

@jeff-jones,

Yes, there is not any documentation for the embeds addon. If you have any questions related to the addon settings, please open a new separate support topic and ask it.

Thanks. This works just fine. I guess the fear is that most sites don't even respond to posts in their forums. You guys do. So that works for documentation. Much appreciated.
