The embed addon won't let me embed audio clips hosted on my website. If I post a URL of the clip, then only the URL appears. The "oEmbed current domain content" is enabled. What am I doing wrong?
Many thanks!

Hi @robert-traynor,
wpForo Embeds doesn't replace URLs. You should put Audio content provider URLs not Audio file URL. For example SoundCloud URL. This is an embedding addon, it does embeds of content providers.
Please leave the example URL with the issue.
Also, if you want to upload an audio file and display it with a player, we will suggest to check out the wpForo Advanced Attachment add-on. It allows you to attach multiple files, images, videos, audio, and all other file types you’ve allowed in settings and etc.
More info here:
If it doesn't embed audio URLs, then what is the point of the oEmbed current domain content option? Isn't the purpose of that option to embed the URLs of audio and video content hosted on one's own domain?
I don't want to attach the file. I want to embed it. So there would be no point in my purchasing the attachment addon.
I must say I'm disappointed that the addon can't embed self-hosted audio files as forum software like vBulletin and Xenforo can, since I tend to post those sorts of audio files more than others. I hope that in a future update this functionality will be included in the software.
Hi @robert-traynor,
Also, please don't forget to leave the example URL with the issue.
As we already mentioned please leave the example URL. So, we'll be able to see the issue and try to find some solution for you as soon as possible.
