I need to store images offsite and currently use Amazon s3. I notice Advanced attachments sets up its own media section in wordpress. Is this plugin compatible with S3, and if so, how do I set this up as my previous set up no longer works now the plugin is running.

Hi Louise Birkens,

We're really sorry, but the wpForo Advanced Attachments stores on the server, not on external services.

Is there any work around? My forum is to display art and each person will likely be uploading 4 or even more images per day.I cannot store them on the server as it will chew up too much space.

What is the solution to store these images please?

I am using a plugin "WP Offload Media Lite" successfully with AWS S3. It has an option to "Remove Local Media" described as "Frees up storage space by deleting local media files after they have been offloaded." Of course AWS S3 charges based on exporting or viewing (not uploading) the charges I am seeing from images being viewed in my forum are negligible.
