Hello gVectors Team,

I’m using the wpForo User Custom Fields (UCF) addon on my website, and I’d like to know if there’s currently a way (or an addon) that allows members to upload and display multiple photos in their profile — essentially a small personal gallery.

Right now, members can only have a single profile picture. I’d like them to be able to upload several images (for example, showcasing activities or events) that would appear in a “Photos” or “Gallery” section within their profile.

Could you please confirm if the UCF addon or any other wpForo addon supports this feature, or if there’s a recommended way to achieve it (e.g., with custom fields or a compatible plugin)?

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards,

Yes! Plus One on this needed feature.

I didn't realize this couldn't be done in WPForo until I started to use the User Custom Fields addon. This is a very common feature of any forum that has user profiles (all of them).

I'm a member of several forums that use other forum software and they all allow members to upload multiple images to their profile to create a personal gallery. Some have nice settings like marking an image or album public (available to the world), members only, or private (visible only to admins).

Hi,

There are two possible options:

  1. You can add a “File Upload” field to the account page, allowing users to upload images. Then, add this field to a custom tab created by the plugin so that the uploaded files are displayed within that tab.
  2. You can use a custom gallery plugin that supports shortcodes and embed its shortcode to display images inside a custom tab created by the User Custom Fields addon.
