I have both plugins and I was wondering how do I choose between the two options when posting an image? At the moment every image I paste or insert via my media is always an advanced attachment but was wondering how I could embed images as well as it is more useful in some situations.

The wpForo Advanced Attachments add-on work in the following way. It allows to attach multiple files, images, videos, audio, and all other file types you’ve allowed in settings. Files can be inserted inline, between post content texts. It opens a nice lightbox slider with many features to view and watch different types of attached files.
