Two issues...

When replying to a comment, it still states the Max file size is 512mb no matter what I change it to. I have changed it to 3mb in both the Advanced Attachemnts settings as well as the post & editor settings in wpForo and cleaned out all caches.

Second issue, while the file limits function, if I try to upload a file that is over the set limit, is says 'Working' for about 60 seconds then does nothing. There should be an error that pops up stating the file limit was exceeded.

Have you checked to make sure youre changing the admin user group, and not the normal forum member? You need to edit each user group

@percysgrowroom yes, I have every group max file size set at 3000kb. Between that and no error message popping up, there is something going on and I can't figure it out.

@treybiker Ill reply again, just because it might be the answer and I can get back to you quickly, I hope you dont mind.

But maybe this is down to a setting on your server, or in the HTaccess files, have you check there too? Sometimes upload restrictions a re set there too

@percysgrowroom I appreciate the help. First, I am not an expert on any of this but I set the limit to 3mb for all user groups and on the main wpForo setting. The server states max upload size in 512mb so I don't think that is the issue unless I am missing something else. Even so, when I try to upload something larger than 3mb to test the limits, a spinning icon appears and says 'Working' for about 60 seconds then just goes away. No error message and nothing uploads. When I upload something under the 3mb, it uploads fine.

@treybiker

Please make sure this is not a caching issue. Have all caches been cleared properly?

Yes, Percysgrowroom is right. You need to check each usergroup tab in the "Usergroup Based Options" section.
