User & Comment Mentioning with Comment Author Info

This behavior is not mobile friendly as there is no mouseover event in Mobile so you see a spinning wheel & then the author's page comes. I wanted to change this behavior so that a) There is no mouseover popup b) when I click on Mark's name, I want to show "Comment Author Info" popup which is a pretty good popup with various details including a link to Mark's page (if I want to go there).

This is not the Author Info pop-up. This is the User Mentioning addon pop-up. There is another pop-up in the User Mentioning addon. When you mention a comment with #comment-id, it'll pop-up the comment, so you don't have to go to that comment to read it.

All pop-ups of this addon are designed on mouseover event. It's not correct to make them work on "click" event and there is no way to do it. We don't want to disable the author link and ability to go to the author page.  We'll fix the mobile issue for the author-links by using another way. Please wait for this plugin update, we'll release it after the New year holidays as it's mentioned on the top of this support forum.
