why you guys don’t want to had thumbnails feature, for years people have been asking for  it, it’s not like you guys going give it for free we would happy to pay for it, I think it’s a very important feature, to have a forum, people respond pictures more than they respond to a text. Please I’m all you guys to consider making that feature, a lot your customers would be happy to have it, or give advice on how we getting by using a 3rd party

@oneil-thorpe,

I'm sorry, but I don't see what thumbnail you mean. If you're referring to the attached image thumbnail in post content, you can simply use this code: https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/uploading-and-embedding-images/#post-5212

Or you can purchase the wpForo Advanced Attachments addon: https://gvectors.com/product/wpforo-advanced-attachments/

I’m talking when you post a picture or video, you don’t see a thumbnail for it, you actually have open the post to see it, I want customers to able to see a preview/ of the image before opening the post.I a lot of people ask you guys about this feature for years now.

@oneil-thorpe,

Ok, I see you. This has been added in wpForo to-do list, and it's planned for the next major version (2.x versions). I'm sorry, but this feature will not be added in 1.x versions.

@tomson - How far away are you from having the updated version of wpForo that includes the ability to display a thumbnail of the posted picture next to the post listing? My users could REALLY benefit from this feature.  My users want to see a preview before they open the post to see the picture.
