Hi,

I have the paid version of the media uploader for wpDiscuz and am loving the plugin so far, but having an issue with some users. I am getting many reports that users are having issue uploading photos. When they click the attachment button and select their photo you can see the "working" icon up in the corner doing it's thing, but then the photo thumbnail doesn't appear and when they click submit the photo does not attach to their comment. The photo does, however, show up in the media library. Some users have reported making the photos smaller helps, but this doesn't always work. This is a critical function of our website and we would like to get it resolved.

Here is an example of a custom post using this functionality:

Thanks

Alex

@alex-crane ,

The developers have checked your website and currently don't find any issues. I've asked them to upload the large image as well.

For further support, they requested the UL example of the comment with missing images.

@astgh Right now it won't let you upload any files more than 2mb as per settings. But I would like to change this setting so my users can attempt larger images, but when I do they still can't.

Please leave a screenshot of the settings page where we can see the value of the option.

Additionally, confirm that you've deleted the caches once the value of the option is changed.

I have also deleted the user caches.

When I select an image larger than about 2mb it acts like it working up in the corner, the image is uploaded to the media library and then it doesn't attach.

When I go into the media library you can see the image uploaded. (the last two images). Notice the same image uploaded into my library from another user over and over again. This is because he kept trying to get the image to attach to his post but it would not.

The developers attempted to install Query Monitor to view the error logs, but Query Monitor fails to load. This should be a server-side issue.

Therefore, we kindly request you to create a development/staging copy of your website on a sub-domain, verify the presence of the problem, and then send us the admin details. You can use Duplicator to create this site.

Additionally, please provide FTP access to the staging website.
