Hi, l like your plugin, it's very good for a free plugin, anyway, i would like in the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/gplus-comments/ dont appear the default wordpress comments, can i insert in a shortcode?, it nice to put this plugin if can this be done, i will wait your replie, and congratulations. Sorry my english.
Hi Rene,
Please let us know what kind of shortcode do you mean? We can't see the idea of adding comments and comment form in post content with [shortcode]. Maybe you mean template tag, like <?php somefunction() ?> to be able to put it in template files?
Yeah, i asking because the shortcode it's to fast for put and delete de code of this plugin, but if you have a function for replace the default wordpress comments for wpDiscuz it good and i will try to apply.
Thank you Rene,
i asking because the shortcode it’s to fast for put and delete de code of this plugin,
But this is not faster then just check/unchecking "Allow comments" option, which available for each post separately. Please see the screenshot:
And the main reason why we don't create shortcode for wpDiscuz is explained in the screenshot below:
i dont know this about the shortcodes only works on content, i show you an example what i would like implement:
http://cuadrotv.com/espectacular-la-cumbre-tajin/
in the part of the comments of this link whit comments evolved plugin (Â https://wordpress.org/plugins/gplus-comments/) , don't show your plugin, i think i can remove the function of default wordpress comments, and put a function to call the wpDiscuz, we like this because we think of anybody can comment in our blog, thanks for your attention :).
Ok, I see,
Shoutcode can be used for this purpose, gplus plugin doesn't support content shortcodes and it's not possible to add wpDiscuz in this tab even if we have some shortcode. I'm really sorry but that's impossible to use these two plugins together. Both of those use the same Wordpress hook to change comment system and if it's once changed with gplus it can't be re-changed/added by another.
Ok, i understand, thank you for the plugin.
