That will impact the website as a whole. Not worth it for the Emoticons plugin if the code in that plugin can be updated to avoid it. None of the other plugins struggle so I will leave it unless you release a new version in the future.

For your information. I needed a better cache plugin anyways so I bought WP Rocket. That solved the problem.
