I've installed WPforo and I'd like my new members to be able to post Q&A and see main questions of interest and concern based on a location which they specify from a listbox. Is there a way to allow a new user to see and read all Q&A discussion or if they would prefer only receive read and see discussion related to their choice of location chosen from a listbox dropdown? Is there any other solution to reducing the amount of content somebody sees in a Q&A forum so that it is more relevant to concerns from people based in the same location/community? thanks any ideas welcome on the best way or add on to structure this location based filtering. T

I'm sorry, but there isn't any automatic content suggestion function in wpForo that could suggest a content based on user location.
As an alternative you can use either topic custom fields or topic prefixes.
1. You can create a location (field type: drop-down) custom field for topics. When user create a topic he/she select the country. Then users can filter all topics by the custom field in the forum search page.
2. If the locations are not tens or hundreds you can create a group of topic prefixes and create topic prefixes for each location, so users can select the location as topic prefix. So the new topic will be attached to a certain prefix/location. Once user click a prefix in shows all topics attached to that prefix/location:
