[Solved] is it possible to use it in a specific forum

We're really sorry, but the wpForo Topic Custom Fields addon doesn't have such a feature yet. However this is already in our to-do list, and it'll be implemented in the next update. 

We really love WP-foro and use it successfully for a support and discussion forum.

We've bought the addon to add standard fields to our support forum, so people always submit OS, version etc.

As the custom form fields can not be set for each forum, they are useless for us as it makes no sense to ask people for their tech environment who just want to start a regular discussion. 🙁

We find this is a MAJOR drawback of your otherwise great plugin. If you are fair to your customers, you should clearly point out that the custom fields can not be set individually for each forum - before people buy.

As far as I see now, the feature request to add custom fields to individual forms is open since August - and there is apparently no timeline or priority on your side to improve. :((

I just purchased this addon and it's only useful to me if I can be used for individual category/forums - is this available yet? My bad for not checking this thread before purchasing 🙁 

Thanks for the info. Hoping the update comes out shortly. A great addon if it can be used for individual sections.
