it seems you have a custom code. Have you added any code to perform Youtube links in wpForo?
Because all works fine, only youtube doesn't. it seems you have a custom code or plugin which strips Youtube links. Other works, but youtube:

I deactivated all plugins (besides forum and embed) and it still didn't work. Also, in console, it shows youtube being blocked. I also don't have any code about youtube. Thank you for your help on this - this is a cool plugin. I probably want to get the attachment one as well.

Ok, this is a HTTPS website issue. We just released wpForo Embeds 1.0.1 version. Update it through Dashboard > Plugins or download from gVectors Account admin page. The problem should be fixed in v1.0.1.
