When i try to disable website link embed and save settings it is on again. How do i disable it? My main problem is that i want these embeds to be disabled in code (pre) "statements"

Hi @marcel-schalk,

First of all, I apologise for the late response.

In the case of the PHPMyAdmin, it detects the URL as a file, so you see the issue. There are not any other URLs with the issue. If you deactivate the Embed File URLs option, it'll not be embedded anymore.

@astghik i know yes but this option is also not letting me disable it. I click disable then save options and it is enabled back on without me wanting it.

@astghik I guess that wont work because admins have 2 factor enabled by system default. I could try disabling it

By the way: arent the settings saved in the database? I spent half of my day finding them in the database but didnt find any table for it. wp_polls etc is present but embeds not.

EDIT:

sent and disabled
