Hi.

I've installed and started using the Blog-Cross Posting, however - I have an issue with translating the strings.

I'm using Loco translate and I was able to find the relevant front-end strings.

However - translating them doesn't affect the front-end, am I missing something?

Please kindly advise.

BR

Hi @raphael-gal,

Please make sure that you have set to save the PO MO files at wp-content > languages > plugins folder in Loco translate plugin settings.

OK,

It was in custom location like I usually do, to avoid overwritten during updates.

unfortunately, my strings translations still do not appear on the front end

You can see I moved it to where you suggested.

@raphael-gal,

We will check this, but for now I would recommend doing the translation by wpForo > phrases as cross post doesn't have so much phrases, until we will find out what's the problem.

@kylew thank you!

Where can I find an XML file template to upload there?

@raphael-gal,

wpForo addons don't have XML files, wpForo plugin has, but we don't recommend to Overwrite the XML. If the loco doesn't work on the addon, translate using the Phrases page, edit the Phrase and change the translation field.
