Hello, dear developers! I found a bug related to the translation. I'm not sure if this bug is nested in this addon, but it looks very much like it. So, we look at the "Recent Posts" widget: if the user writes his answer on the forum, then everything is displayed correctly translated into my native language in the widget. If the answer is written in the body of wpDiscuz, then the untranslated preposition "RE:" is displayed in the widget (see screenshot). My attempts to find a phrase and make a translation did not give a positive result. It also didn't help to "Add a new phrase" with its translation. Attention, question: is it possible to make this malicious preposition "RE:" available for translation to those people whose native language is not English? I am grateful in advance.

Hi @boris-v,

This is not a bug, they are different, and you should add a new phrase for translation.

Use [Add New] button in wpForo > Phrases admin page and add a new phrase with phrase_key "RE:" and phrase_value "НА:", Save it and delete wpForo cache in wpForo > Overview admin page.

You can also translate this phrase using Loco translate plugin.

@tomson,

I've done all this more than once. In the case of "Add new" does not work! As for Loco Translate, it simply does not find this "RE", and there is no "Add New" function in Loco Translate! And what else can be done? It's just that this disparity in the widget is annoying. It shouldn't be like this.

@boris-v,

Use RE: not RE

Loco should allow you add new phrase, try to add RE:

@tomson,

That's exactly what I did! And Loco does not allow you to add new phrases, only to correct existing ones. At least, I didn't find such an option.

If this question is intractable, tell me, at least, where this "RE" is located, I will fix it in the code. and I will fix it with every update.

@boris-v,

It's better to make the RE: available in Cross-Posting translation file. So we've changed it, and you'll be able to translate it using Loco translate plugin for Cross-Posting addon. Just wait for the addon update, it'll be release soon.

@tomson,

How can I find this new opportunity? My system stubbornly shows the old version of the translation, there is no sign of this "RE:", and the new version of the addon is also not visible, it does not try to update. See the screenshot:

@boris-v,

Update to 3.0.1 and find  RE: phrase in cross-posting translation file. you may need to synchronize your translation file with the main POT file.

@boris-v

If you find and translate the phrase it'll only fix new replies, the old replies are already in the database, so they'll stay in English.

@tomson,

Unfortunately, nothing has changed. Through "Add a new phrase" - is not solved. Nothing has changed through Loco either. "RE:" is nowhere to be found, Loco does not allow us to add a new phrase. What to do? Get into the code? So I didn't even find this scoundrel "RE:" in the wpForo and wpForo-cross codes!!! And yes, I posted a new answer, nothing has changed!

@boris-v,

What have you done to fix it???

Have you edited the cross-posting addon RU translation file?

Have you synched it and found the RE: phrase?

It seems you have done nothing. Just start doing the things I mentioned.

You should edit the cross-posting addon translation file using LOCO and synch it, then find RE: phrase and translate it. This is the last reply I'm writing here. If you still cannot do the things and fix the issue, then send the admin login details, we'll login and fix it within 3-5 days. I cannot guide you how to use Loco plugin correctly, it's a long topic.

@tomson,

I did all this. I finally found this b*****d "RE:" in Loco, translated, synchronized, cleaned the forum cache, the result is the same c**p (see screenshots)! You don't think I'm so dumb that I can't use Loco, do you? What the h**l else have I done wrong?!!! Then you come in. I can't give you my account in any way. You can register with me on the forum, and then I will give your acc admin access?

@boris-v,

Always reply with details, we should know what have you done and what doesn't work. You should have said all the steps in your previous post, so we don't spend time on another unnecessary q&a... 90% of WP users don't know how to use Loco, and they are not dumb, it's just an experience that you may have or don't.

Ok, then go to Dashboard > Users admin page and register a new admin with support[at]gvectors.com email address and send the password with the website URL to support[at]gvectors.com email address.

@tomson,

I did it a long time ago. Look in private mail.

OK, I'll duplicate it now to your support mailbox.

@boris-v,

This issue should be fixed, please check it again. We couldn't find the conflict point, there is some issue with the translation file. So we've added wpForo phrase support to the RE, now it uses wpForo Phrase translation.

@tomson,

Yes, I saw everything, everything is fine on the frontend! You guys don't eat your bread for nothing. Thank you! There are 2 questions left:

1) Will these problems appear when updating addons and wpForo and wpDiscuz themselves? 2) Will these problems appear with new installations?

Thank you in advance for the answer. Your Boris V.

Thank you @boris-v,

There will not be any problem with installing and updating the addon. Just make sure you always use installation zip file from our website (Your account), don't use your local copies if you re-install it.
