Hello

I have asked about my problem on wpForo but in the end i found out that my problem is in Advanced Attachments add-on.

Today i installed the version of add-on i had stored on my PC the version 1.2.7 which is before other updates and to my surprise the attachments begin to show in the forums as it was.

Also i want to say shame on your developers i had to find the issue on my own, chatted with SG host support as suggested by your Support moderators that know nothing about your products, i even moved the site to other hosting and your moderators told me it's some htaccess conflict! {green}:displeased:  

So my question is, do you have any idea what is wrong with the new version?

P.s. for the info i moved the site not because of this issue!

Hello, any support?

I have renew the license and this is what i get, the last 2 updates don't work to display old BB Press attachments.

I have try playing with settings but no change, the only way is to roll back to old 1.2.7 version of the plugin.

Waiting for a reply from the developers if not expect my curse on all of you! As an example of my curse see the COVID-19 effects of it.

Please leave direct link to the post where the bbPress attachment is missing. We'll check it tomorrow. Also, let us know what version of wpForo and wpForo Advanced Attachments you use.

Make another test, disable the Advanced Attachment addon and check if the old bbPress attachments exist.

For the info all old bbPress atachments are affected by this, it's not specific files!

Please visit both topics on wpForo and read the first post here, i found that the issue is in the latest 2 updated version of this addon.

I use last version of wp-Foro the issue is in the addon latest 2 versions, i have looked in the codes but i not know how it works and what was changed in newer versions, but i recon i have see some changes in the codes, tried to compare and edit a couple of files as the old one looks but no joy. 😆  

It would be good that developers write in a file what files were updated and what exact code, in this way we even would exclude any malware changes to plugins as some developers do intentionally to create holes in a WP site, as have been found by Wordfence in many plugins thanks to my suggestions. 😎

Hello

I did update to latest versions of add-ons and wpForo but issue is not gone, because of this i will not renew my licenses anymore, now i regret moving from bbPress.

Hi @itesla,

I just want to see what's wrong with the URL structure. I know that the issue is not image specific. Also, have you checked the old bbPress attachments folder? Have you deleted that folder? If you leave some example I can see where are the images and why they don't work.
