Lightboxes conflict

Before I installed wpForo and wpForo Advanced Attachments I already had Lightbox Plus Colorbox installed to handle image popups.

Now, when I click an image in a forum message, it correctly pops up in the wpForo lightbox, and when I close it, the wpForo lightbox closes allright, but the image remains popped up, now in a Lightbox Plus Colorbox. I have to close that too. So I have to click twice to close an image.

When I deactivate Lightbox Plus Colorbox, I can close images in the forum with one click, but the other images on the website (outside the forum) don't pop up in a lightbox anymore. You can zoom in by clicking on them, but no lightbox.

I installed the Blueimp lightbox, because that is what wpForo uses. It works now.

Blueimp has not been updated for several years though.

Just download the old wordpress plug as a ZIP and replace the files with new ones from the latest git repository of Blueimp:

I've disabled the Lightbox slider in advanced attachments and now use that 'old' Blueimp with updated files. It takes over and presents attachments in a Lightbox plus my Wordpress posts' images are also Lightboxed now too. A consistent look across the whole site. You can see it at my site https://egpu.io/ .
