Hi guys,

I am using WPML and have tried multiple ways of translating this add-on but it still only displays the English version.

1 - I tried using WPML string translation and translated everything in wpdiscuz-user-notifications
2 - I tried generating the PO and MO based on the .POT file in the plugin; and placed them in;
2a - /plugins/wpdiscuz-user-notifications/languages/wpdiscuz-user-notifications-nl_NL.mo
- /plugins/wpdiscuz-user-notifications/languages/wpdiscuz-user-notifications-nl_NL.po
2b - /languages/plugins/wpdiscuz-nl_NL.mo
- /languages/plugins/wpdiscuz-nl_NL.po

But the translation simply does not seem to take.

Can you please help me in translating this add-on?

Do hope you guys can give me a pointer on how to deal with this 😉
I also looked at the other topics but sadly that didn't help me resolve it either.

They where created using PoEdit.

Bumping this as it seems we should be able to translate this addon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dear PatrickD,

We've checked several times no issues with translation at all. Simply there are a few texts that should be translated in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > User Notifications admin page.

You are misunderstanding me there I think.

Sure the options you mention exist, and I can change those just fine. As provided by the attached files. But on FRONTEND of the website whatever I do it all remains english, see the attached screenshot;

And I am quite sure I also translated those, in the attached files. For quick reference;

So please explain me what am I doing wrong in translating those?

Hope you can help me in getting this resolved.

Dear @patrickd,

You should translate all those notifications only in the Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > User Notificationsadmin page. Currently, there is no way to translate those via phrase system as far as those are dynamic PHP variables.

I've asked the developers to take this into consideration for future updates. So you will be able to translate the notifications via the phrase system if it's possible.
