My comment section was working fine. Sometime this week it stopped working. Anyone can go and submit a comment but it never is sent to moderation. Admin never receives it. The user who tried to leave a comment sees it published on their screen, but if they refresh the screen it's gone. It never actually gets published. It's a ghost comment that only the user/submitter sees until they refresh. Please help. I have no clue what changed.

It seems you're using some antispam plugin. Please deactivate the plugins one by one and check after each deactivation to find the conflict maker plugin.
