i just purchased 4 single site addons. would it be possible to switch to 3-site addons?

I'm sorry, but there is no way to do that. Please put all 3 Site license in your shopping card and go to the checkout page. You should get automatic discounts. Just take a screenshot and leave it here if you don't see any discount.
