Oh, I see what's happening – the original one was getting a "Read more" and the truncated version does not embed. That makes sense now that I understand what is happening and think about it, but was not at all obvious when looking at the unexpanded comment. I would expect it to embed the TikTok post and then truncate / Read More based on the content of the comment after that.

1. Please update the addon to the latest version
2. Go to Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Embeds admin page and click on the [Save Changes] button.
3. Delete all kinds of caches and check again.

Also, the oEmbed Options were reset to the default at some point – I assume when I updated the plugin? Is that going to happen every time that plugin is updated? I remember going through those options carefully when I first set this up, but didn't make note of which ones I turned on & off because I figured that would be saved.
