I want to restrict access to my forum and its topics or child pages by creating a rule so that visitors/not logged-in users are redirected to an unauthorized page when trying to visit the forum page. However, the forum's main page/permalink (e.g., .../community) is unavailable to create a rule in MemberPress. Although the forum does not show to non-members using the plugin addon, the forum's page header (navigation menu) does show, which is a problem and shouldn't be visible to non-members.

Also, when I try to have my forum's page under a parent page that has a rule restricting the page to just members (memberships), wpForo automatically creates another forum page.

Hi @frank-gallo,

The addon does one thing. It adds Membership Plan <> Forum Access configuration section in each forum editing page. So it's not responsive to other issues.

First please edit the parent forums, the child forums and make sure you've set correct forum access to correct Membership plan. Then check the usergroup permissions on the right section of the forum editing screen.

If all are configured correctly then all is ok.

The main page of wpForo is a simple page so you should be able to find it in the Membership Rules and manage the access. It has no any relationship to the Membership Integration addon.

Thank you. I solved the issue. I set the page to private, so once I published it, it was available to create a rule. Thank you.
