Hi @kalee-raisor,

Please use the "Disconnect License" orange button on the addon in Dashboard > Plugins admin page.

Dev sites have been removed and some sites have been merged. I am unable to do this, hence why I am asking.

@kalee-raisor,

So what? Should we reset all website you've ever installed and activated the licenses? You have many licenses and many activation domains. And you should specify which one should be reset. Otherwise, we'll reset all websites you've activated.

Next time please make sure you've disconnected license keys before deleting the website. We've created the "Disconnect License" button to avoid such procedures.

@tomson Yeah, just reset them all for wpForo Embeds, wpForo Polls, and wpForo - Blog Cross Posting please.

Please consider an easier way to manage licenses.

Please consider an easier way to manage licenses.

Next time, just click the "Disconnect License" button when you delete a website. It'll disconnect the license, and you'll be able to activate it on another website. I think this is a very easy solution:

Reset Addon License Key Activation

Please note that the activation is only necessary for getting new version updates. You should use addons on staging websites without key activation, there is no any limit in functions and features if you don't activate it. However,  in case the name of staging site matches to this list, they'll be automatic active:

TLDs that are considered as dev or staging:

  •     *.dev
  •     *.test
  •     *.local
  •     *.staging
  •     *.example
  •     *.invalid
  •     *.myftpupload.com (GoDaddy)
  •     *.cloudwaysapps.com (Cloudways)
  •     *.ngrok.io (tunneling)

Subdomains that are considered as dev or staging:

  •     local.*
  •     dev.*
  •     test.*
  •     stage.*
  •     staging.*
  •     stagingN.* (SiteGround; N is an unsigned int)
  •     *.staging.wpengine.com (WP Engine)
  •     dev-*.pantheonsite.io (Pantheon)
  •     test-*.pantheonsite.io (Pantheon)
  •     staging-*.kinsta.com (Kinsta)

Additionally, if your domain is localhost (with any port), it will also be treated as a localhost domain.

the activation is only necessary for getting new version updates. So you should use addons on staging websites without key activation, there is not any limit in functions and features if you don't activate it.
