Here's what I think is happening. Many readers/users are used to the FB app that is d**n near instantaneous for uploading images. They try to upload a large image straight from the phone via WP Discuz and but don't wait the required 3-5 seconds required to get the thing uploaded before hitting the publish post button. And then they don't have an image attachment on their comment.
Anyone have any way to mitigate this? I realize that ajax is not going to be nearly as fast as a native ap...just looking for ways to let them know that their s**t is still uploading. Maybe make the busy icon bigger and more colorful?
Personally, I have image upload limit set to 64MB as I have a big assed litespeed server and shortpixel in the background shrinking them down in terms of size and compression. Asking them to provide small images is a fool's errand. At least for my sites (plenty of older folks). That's as about as facebook like as I can make things.
