I read the doc and understand that you can only display comments on a single page. However, I would image there is a use case where people would want to display these type of comments on other pages. Are there shortcodes I can use to display on the home page? Thanks.

Are there shortcodes I can use to display on the home page?

You can enable the wpDiscuz comment form on the home page using the "Enable wpDiscuz on home page" option. The option is located in the Dashboard > Comments > Settings > General admin page.
