Tom,

I wish I was better as searching the forum to try to find what I am looing for.  I have found some other neat css code you have posted though in the process.

Here is the situation:

The Posted Comment questions and their answers are not in the same order as we have them on the Form.  It is happening with several questions the easiest to see id the Questions Point 1,  Point 2, Point 3.

ie:  http://pocketwisdominsights.com/pwicolab/leadership/leadership-co-lab-leadership/leadership-co-lab/stash/research-bluecollar/

attached 2 screen shots... the form and the posted comment.

What am I doing wrong?

We'll check this in our side and fix in future release. Currently I can't provide any solution.

Tom,

YEAH ... I think I have the pattern.  I have been thinking and testing throughout the weekend.

Let me try to explain what I think I found...

First time the form is created and published - everything posts in the proper sequence.

The initial pattern I am seeing...

  • is when I come back and
  • add questions and
  • move them in the form
  • Then post a comment...
  • The post displays the initial questions in their order
  • THEN it lists the second added questions under the first group
    • in the sequence as if they were the only questions

I have included screen shots.

I have not tested what happens when I edit an initial questions.  I was just trying to find the base pattern.

The work around would require every time we want to added a question we would need to rebuild the form.

Again I have not tested what would happen to an initial question if I edited it.

  • would it stay in place
  • would it act like it was just added

As our CEO often says a problem well defined is half solved.

What are your thoughts?

Is this global behavior or something unique to us?

I look forward to hearing from you.  😉

So... is the expected behavior that questions display in order they are ADDED to the form regardless of where they are moved to on the form??

What are your thoughts?

Tom - I don't have edit permissions and the missed deleting  some thought from my earlier testing.  |Please ignore and if you would delete those bottom straggler lines.

Tom,

https://gvectors.com/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/post-answers-not-in-the-order-of-the-form/#post-4340   The work around is not a very desirable long term solution.

Is this fixable any time soon?  What are your thoughts?

I have no info about this, I've already let our developers know about the issue. And it'll probably fixed with next update or so...

Tom,

Thank you I did not realize you had submitted it. My misunderstanding.  I will use the work around for now.   Thank you again.  Forward we go.

This problem is fixed, we've installed a new fixed version of wpDiscuz on your website. If you have old comment form we recommend to edit them and click on save button to correct form field orders.
