When I first installed Discuz, the phrases tab did not appear. After activating, and then deactivating the "Use Plugin .PO/.MO files" option, the phrases tab appeared, but when I tried to get into those settings an error message of "you do not have sufficient permissions" appeared.  My main reason for using Discuz is to be able to change the phrases, so if this won't work I will have no reason to use this system.

Hi girlwithwheels,

wpDiscuz closes the Phrase manager if you use .mo/.po translation files. Those can't work together. So please disable "Use Plugin .PO/.MO files"  option, then you'll be available to manage phrases. The error you're talking about can be caused by browse cache. please logout and login again then go to phrase manager page. Also make sure you've logged in as administrator.

Hello. I have the same problem. I was tuning WPML and the Phrases tab disappeared. I disabled WPML, reinstalled wpDiscuz, cleared cache but nothing helped. Can you help with that?

Hi igorlichman,

Have you read my post above? You should know the Phrase System can be enabled only if the .MO / .PO Translation system is disabled. So there is an option on wpDiscuz Settings General Tab called "Use Plugin .PO/.MO files". Just disable/uncheck this option and refresh your dashboard, it'll bring back the wpDiscuz Phrase menu under Comments.
