Important Problem for German Users (LAW Restrictions)

we can add an admin page with full list of subscriptions and subscribers, with an option to delete any subscription, but it'll not include subscription notification for admins. Hope this suit your needs.

Yeah a Admin Page with a full List of all subscriptions is also ok to meet the requirements of the German law! Is it possible to show the following Information on this admin page: Email Adress, Timestamp and IP Adress of the subscriber? This are the informations that the German Admins need.

Will this admin page save the Subscriber Information for the case that the subscriber unsubscribes?

If this is possible, it will be great for the German users! Than wpdicuz will be the only Comment Plugin, that meet the requirements of the German Law.

This is bit strange, what is different between German admin and other admins? Where we can find the legal information about your requirements? We need official websites and official rules about all requirements you've mentioned here.

yeah, the German Laws are often Strange... my English isn´t the best, so i hope you understand this text...

The difference between German admins and the other is the data protection law. In Germany it is very strong, so admins have to a lot for this.

The German Law says, that every mail, that was send from a WEbsite/ Blog, etc. is Spam! That includes emails for comment subscription. The reason for this is, that somebody could subscribe to comments with your mailadress, so the mails you get for the subscribed comments is spam for you! To prevent the user from this, the double opt In is needed. So for every subscription the user have to klick on the subscription Link in the mail. That´s the first thing. Im WPdiscuz the double opt in is implemented, so that´s good! But it is not the only thing a admin in germany have to take care about. The German Law says, that the admin have to verify, that  a user has subscribed to a comment with double opt in! And for this the admins need some kind of comfirmation of the subscriptions. Thats the main problem with wpdiscuz, there ist no confirmation for the admin!

I also ask a lawyer about this. He said, that a admin Page (like the Admin Page of the Wordpress Plugin Jetpack) would work fine for this! So i think this is the best way.

Today I get another response from an Internet Law specialist. He also confirmed, that the admin page solution for comment subscription of the PlugIn Jetpack is okay for the German Law. So i hope this Information helps you with working on a solution.
