Hi, I'm pretty sure it would be really usefull if you can give us a php trick or a new plugin function to let us display an avatar from a custom post 🙂

Gravatar is a bit old now, and problematic to use for a lot of users who do not want to change anything from back-end, and for a lot of developpers who do not want to permit back-end access.

I'm sorry, but I don't follow you. Please explain more in details what do you mean saying:
"function to let us display an avatar from a custom post".

Also, please inform us what profile plugin do you use? wpDiscuz has integration with profile plugins such as BuddyPress, Ultimate Members (navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Integrations admin page check the list of integration).

Hi, I am only using ACF Pro 🙂
It would be cool if me and others developpers in the same situation could replace the avatar display in comments by an other image field from acf for example, if we don't want to use gravatar.

I'm sorry, but wpDiscuz doesn't have such a feature. You can use some avatar upload plugins such as WP User Avatar.
