Hi. have a WP 4.5.2 install running on PHP 7. have used wpDiscuz for several months with no issues, and there have been no changes to the plugins or theme activated when this problem popped up.

I have a post from yesterday with some comments. Shows 8 (both a theme counter and the participate in discussion language for wpDiscuz), actually, but only 6 display on the post. I've checked the post by viewing comments in the post editor and all 8 appear there. Checked plugin settings to make sure nothing was hiding them (like load more pagination, for instance). Nothing helped. Finally, I disabled wpDiscuz on posts from the plugin's settings and all 8 comments now appear.

For some reason, wpDiscuz isn't showing comments that are clearly there. Very much cannot use a comments plugin that hides comments. Help.

Thanks.

Hi brysont,

Something was definitely changed, maybe in server. wpDiscuz is not tested on PHP7 yet. Maybe you've removed those comment authors or put to spam.

I'd recommend to use [Refresh comment optimization] located button below all wpDiscuz options, then delete cache twice.

Been working on PHP 7 fine for over a month. The ONLY changes were plugin updates, like Postmatic. This problem started yesterday.

Only customization options are getting that atrocious color (green I guess? More like aqua), turning off live features, and leaving open for guests, with requirement of name/email. I don't use most options in wpDiscuz.

Will try the fix suggested, but wanted to make it clear, the server hasn't change one iota. I haven't cleared the Varnish cache in over a week, which is usual.

Refreshing comment optimization seems to have fixed it. Is that normal to have to do that? And what cashing plugin do you recommend for use with wpDiscuz?

You don't need to do this anymore. It's only recommended if wpDiscuz was disabled for some time period or something is not normal.

I'd recommend WP Performance Score Booster, W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache
