Comments attributed to wrong page

When new comments are posted they are not being attributed to the correct page, so they do not show up in my theme. I use a theme (WeChange by CurlyTheme) that uses static page format.

A new comment is not supposed to be attributed to the home page, but it is. I have disabled the plugin and now Wordpress default comment is working correctly.

How can I configure that page that wpDiscuz posts the comments to?

Hello? Please let my comment go to the forum. Sitting in moderation for a while day isn't cool. I want to buy the plugin, but if customer support is this slow it worries me a lot ... .

OK. For now I have found a band-aid that allows me to move the comments that are posted under the wrong page. Using the plugin Tako Movable Comments I can manually move comments to the correct page so they're visible. But this is not workable for lots of comments. Also, Tako Movable Comments isn't updated for Wordpress v4.7.4, but it seems to work OK.

Using default Wordpress comments works fine and posts comments under the correct page. My static-page theme has the posts page set to the correct page (post id=21).

I have tested your plugin using Wordpress v4.7.4 with no other plugins other than wpDizcus, using my static-page theme (WeChange from Curly Themes).  I have posts page set to the correct page (post id=21)  in my theme, and I have the post id setting in wpDizcus set to the correct value (21).

I also experience the same issue (comments incorrectly posted under the Home page, on the static-page site) using Epoch and likely other comment plugins.

If your home page is not a simple page wpDiscuz has no chance to work and attach comments. How have you created this home page?

Also if the theme home page template file contains many WP_Query request and those are not reset properly before comment box wpDiscuz has no chance to get the correct page ID, this is theme issue and can't be fixed from wpDiscuz side.

And if you don't mind you can send admin login details to support[at]gvectors.com email address, we'll login and check it within 1-2 days.

Thanks for responding.

The default WordPress comments works fine.

The home page is setup as static-page style using one-page template. I didn't set it up myself, I used the WeChange petition theme from Curly Theme, as well their demo configuration I modified (with my content). You can find the theme manual here

Using your plugin on posts work correctly, like this: https://www.enacta2.com/florida-medical-marijuana-house/

I'll send over the login information.

For now I'm using your plugin with Tako Movable Comments plugin. Once a comment is posted on the /supporters/ page and ends up on the /home/ page, I move the comment to the correct page (/supporters/).

The /home/ page is configured as the as the front  page, and the /supporters/ page is configured as the posts page. I also tried leaving the posts page empty and got the same response. The /home/ page is setup as a one-page template.

Currently the post ID isn't set in wpDiscuz, but I have tried setting it and got the same response (posting to the wrong page).

I'm sorry but this is not wpDiscuz issue and can't be fixed from our side. This template gets PostID 27 comments instead of the home pageID 22 comments. The default form works because of the theme developers do changes PageID on comment submit. We can't do this custom change in wpDiscuz and wpDiscuz works with AJAX, it doesn't reload page for performing this kind of trick.

OK, thanks for looking into the issue. I can deal with manually moving comments after they're posted for now. Is this something I could pay you to code? To either fix the issue in my theme or add a 'move comment' feature to wp Discuz?

Do you think your add-ons to wp Discuz will be broken on my site?

Jesus your customer support sucks. Really, do you HAVE to be this slow? You don't answer all the questions posed, and you take forever to answer what you want to answer.

I WANT to give you money, and you seem to NOT want it. So be it.

I'm sorry but the answer on your last question is negative. We helps very well and fast if something is depends on us. This kind of issues can not be supported from our side so your opinion may be such bad. If something is related to wpDiscuz code we do our best to help as much as possible.
