I want to let my audience add comments to individual photos in blog posts, e.g. in the lightbox. I'm using wpdiscuz for post commenting, and it seems to work well. Jetpack's carousel includes the default jetpack commenting form, but there are a lot of things I don't love about carousel and jetpack commenting.

How can I add wpdiscuz commenting to photos? (The only other comment-supporting lightboxes I've found use facebook comments, but I vastly prefer wpdiscuz.)

Hi @purplelizard,

Please let us know the attachments you mean are included in the post itself or they are an attachment post type?

Hi @Astghik. They are photos embedded in a post, either as individual images or in galleries. I have it set so when you click one, it opens in the same page in a lightbox. My understanding is that each uploaded image has a corresponding post ID and can be opened in its own attachment page, if you don't mind the load time and losing context within the post.

For context, I'm using this as a travel journal, so I have posts about my travels, and I want my friends and family to be able to comment on individual photos as well as posts, kinda like you can in Facebook.
