Hi guys!  I'm stumped.  I've scoured the forums for an answer on this, but can't seem to find out:

How do I add a simple Wordpress or UM login on the WPDiscuz comment form.  I have guest commenting enabled.  I would like users to have the option of leaving a guest comment OR, more importantly, having the option to login to their account right on the form.  I saw an admin response here about comment hooks, but I don't know to do that, and it seems like there should be a simple answer that I'm just missing.  Any help?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @alip,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Comments > Settings > Comment form admin page, and enable the "Show logged-in user name and logout link on top of main form" option. More info here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-documentation/settings/comment-form/#user_name_and_logout_link

Also, there is a social login feature, you can enable it if you want. More info here: https://wpdiscuz.com/docs/wpdiscuz-documentation/settings/social-login-and-share/#agreement

Thank you. Yes, I am choosing not to use social login, but I do have the login/logout link enabled. What I was hoping for is: a WP/UM login box right within the comments.  Using the login link navigates the user away from where they'd like to be.  A login box that keeps them right on the page/post where they'd like to leave their comment would be ideal...

@alip,

We don't follow you well. Please try to explain using some screenshots.
The wpDiscuz works in the following way. When you click on the “Login to Comment” button, the WordPress login page opens. Then after filling the fields, you'll be redirected to the same post page.
