Specific forum category and forum user access management

Hello.

In my forum, I have many categories and forums for different subjects and I would like to assign different access rights for different user groups for different forum categories and forums under the same category.

For example;

user group A1 can access Category A and all forums under Category A.

user group A2 can access Category A, but only can access specific forums under Category A not all forums.

I spent some time to study all user group roles and rights, but I still can not figure out how I can do this.

Is it possible?
