Hello,

my forum is very slow, how I can make it faster ?

WHen I write a message, I must wait 3/4 seconds before he's on the forum.

I change my web hosting for a best host, the web site is ok, but the forum is very slow.

Thank you

Hi Mondesensuel,

I think this is a https issue. Your website https is not valid you should fix that. Change the site url from https:// to http:// in Dashboard > Settings > General admin page.

Something force https on your website, this makes page loading protocol conflict and it tries to load https files from your server it makes forum very slow:

Please send admin login details to support[at]gvectors.com we'll check and find the problem causer.

I have a shop, woocommerce on my website.
And when I analyse this, the plugin take 1.5 seconds of speed.
It's maybe for this reason of https ?

I don't know why this plugin is in action on my forum... How I can put off ?

Please check all WooCommerce settings and find the Force HTTPS, then disable it.

You're not the first user. We always ask for dashboard access if the problem can't be debugged and fixed from front-end. Without admin access there is no way to find and fix site specific problems. If you don't wont to provide this access just don't do that, it's not required.

No clue. Please go to WooCOmmerce ettings and disable Force HTTP options, go through all Setting Tab and subTabs, check all settinsg. one of them is this:

2017 02 15 1252

Also I recommend disable all recent added plugins, delete cache and test it. Then activate one by one to find the problem causer. make sure you check it on different browsers, because http > https redirection is being hard-cached and it still works on browser even if you've already fixed the problem.

If I don't find the solution, I will share the access.

I force HTTPS on the website.

The Force SSL setting (WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout > Checkout Options > Force secure checkout) in WooCommerce ensures that certain pages are only shown over HTTPS when enabled

but the same problem when I test it after.

Can I unput the plugin WooCommerce only on the forum ?

For farther questions please contact to WooCommerce support theme, I'm really sorry but this issue doesn't come from wpForo so it can't be fixed from wpForo side. I just found some a related discussion here, it maybe helpful:

I uninstall woocommerce, but it's not better 🙁 .

I see it works faster without https redirection. As I've already mentioned in my last posts, it may depend on other plugins and the hosting service you use. You should deactivate other plugins and check again. If you see it becomes faster, activate them back one by one and check it after each activation. In this way you'll find the real problem-maker. The default wpForo edit/add functions doesn't take so long, you can check it on our support and demo forums.

Also please leave your hosting service information, maybe this is a server issue.

I install wp-forum on other website. and it's very better.

On other website, I have :

Wordpress

ITRO Popup Plugin
WooCommerce
WooCommerce Paypal Express

On my first website, I have :
BuddyPress
Donation Button
Foo Gallery
FooBox
FooGallery Owl Carousel
Itro Popup
JetPack
Members
WP Product Review
WP Super Cache
Yoast

I will try to find the bad plugin.

so, after tests.
It's the plugin JetPack who make forum slower.
When I disable all plugins, the forum is faster. The time betwin I post a message and the view of message is 2 seconds.

When I put all plugin without Yoast, JetPack and BuddyPress, the time is 2 seconds too.

When I put all plugin without JetPack and Yoast, the time is 3 seconds.
Without JetPack, time betwin 3 and 4 seconds
All plugins, time after 4 seconds...

I need JetPack for statistics, I need Yoast for a better SEO, and BuddyPress for messages.

The best solution is to install my forum on the second website... But I have 500 members and 6000 messages on my first website.
How can do make without lost data ?

One question again.
My first domain is : http://mondesensuel.fr
The second domain is : http://monde-sensuel.com

It's the same website, just multi domain.
When I want to install the two addons for migrate the forum, I can't beacause the number of activation exceeded limit.

If you only use Jetpack for statistic you can try WP Statistics plugin as an alternative it maybe faster.

I see the number of plugins makes your forum and website slower. I think this is a hosing service issue, your server is weak. Please leave the parameters here. I think you need to change it to some more powerful plan.

The parameters is here :

I create a multi domain, and migrate the forum on a clean wordpress installation. It's better for me and my members.
Just wait an answer of the support for activate my addons.
