I haven't found anything on this so far and just wanted to ask. Where is the limit for profile pictures and is there a way to increase it and then just scale them down with an addon? I use wpForo, if that is still necessary ^^''

There is not an addon for resizing the profile photo. All question related to the core wpForo plugin should be asked in wpForo Support forum. Please register at wpForo Forum and move this topic there: https://wpforo.com/community/
